Siasconset

Rose-covered cottages, spectacular ocean views, and an iconic lighthouse can be found on the eastern end of the island (referred to as Sconset for short). There are two beautiful bike routes to Sconset, each 8-10 miles long. The WAVE bus also offers two routes to the village, each taking approximately 30 minutes.

Walking:

From the rotary in the center of the village of Sconset, you can walk the “Cliff Walk,” a public footpath along the bluffs and visit the famous Sankaty Lighthouse, while hoping to see seals frolicking in the waves below. The beach is easily accessible as well, just a 5-minute walk from the rotary that takes you under a ninety-foot-long footbridge.
