downtown Nantucket at one of two wharfs, just a short walk
from most hotels and inns.
Biking:
There are several bike shops located right downtown, with others providing bike delivery to homes and hotels/inns in town. Bike racks are everywhere!
Public Transit:
The FREE WAVE bus departs from two locations downtown, serving all parts of the island. Routes to the south and east leave from the Greenhound Building, while western routes depart from the Whaling Museum.

A free shuttle runs nonstop between mid-island and downtown daily, with the last bus departing downtown at 11:00 PM. Leave your keys and enjoy this easy way to get into town.
