Cisco
Acres of preserved natural beauty, farmland and exhilarating surf are just some of the features of this south shore region. The beach is just 3 miles from downtown – a one hour walk or half hour bike ride on the Hummock Pond bike path. The WAVE Miacomet bus route also reaches areas close to the Brewery and Audubon trails.
Walking:
Conservation land lines both sides of the Hummock Pond Road and bike path, with miles of trails to explore.

Biking:
It is just over a 3 mile bike ride from downtown to the Cisco beach area, on the Hummock Pond bike path. Rent a bike downtown, have it delivered to your house or hotel, or rent it at one of Cisco area’s landmarks.
Cisco Beach is the favorite of island surfers thanks to a large, submerged sandbar that allows waves to break away from shore.
Public Transit:
The WAVE bus Miacomet route travels between downtown (Greenhound Building at 10 Washington Street) and Hummock Pond Road, departing every 20 minutes. The Somerset Road stop is a 10 minute ride, where you can connect with the bike path and walk to the Brewery in under 15 minutes. $2 per person cash is collected upon entering the bus.
